Leanne grew up in the Pacific Northwest painting and sewing her afternoons away. Later on, after receiving degrees in both fine art and fashion design, she landed her first job as an assistant designer at Nordstrom.  It wasn't until then, that she discovered that designing prints and patterns for clothing was an actual job. What better way to combine her two loves! In addition to designing textiles and accessories, Leanne is also an author and illustrator, working on her second picture book.
